The Chuck Wagon

Home on the range!

While “The Chuck Wagon” doesn’t really much resemble the wagons used on cattle drives in the mid 1800’s, we thought it would be fun to spotlight this piece of history as the wagons were often referred to as “home on the range” by the cattle drivers whom fondly saw it as the only home they ever really knew.


Located at the far end of our stretch of river, The Chuck Wagon is more remotely situated than the other wagons since no one will need to drive past your wagon on the way to their own. This wagon mirrors The Band Wagon with regard to amenities which include central heat and A/C, a king sized bed, a set of bunks, a wagon wheel table and chairs, a two door mini fridge/freezer, a convection microwave, a Keurig Duo and luxury linens.


Our Band Wagon guests will also receive a key to their own private bathroom located in the brand new Ocoee Riverside Bathhouse. Built to have the look and feel of an older riverside cabin, your bathroom inside the bathhouse offers modern day conveniences with a rustic touch. You will find a copper pot basin atop of barn door vanity, a pull chain high tank toilet, and a barn metal shower that features an exhaust fan and blue tooth speakers inside the overhead light. The entire bath house is heated and cooled and each private bathroom is also equipped with its own overhead heat lamp.


Outside we have outfitted your private campsite with 4 fireside chairs, picnic table, charcoal grill, stone ring fire-pit, set of roasting forks, grilled sandwich presses, and a complete set of cast iron cookware.


History tells us that evenings gathered round the chuck wagons were also special times and it is our hope that you create your own special memories as well.
